The problem

Current scanning technologies are widely using optical galvanometers to scan a surface. These devices are however limited in terms of miniaturization potential and performances.

The solution

Scanlight Imaging's unique micro-scanner technology is coming from micro-fabrication techniques borrowed from semi-conductor industry. It uses fundamentally different motion principles than those of existing scanning products and then enables strong miniaturization with improved performances at lower price

Our core technology has been developed as a platform providing two different actuation principles that are adapted for a maximum range of applications (barcode scanners, optical spectometers, medical...). As example, Scanlight can address slow speed, large angle scanning required in barcode scanners as well as high speed, large angle required for micro-projection
